Meet The Team

Kevin has been with Puryear since 2006. A talented designer turned super builder; Kevin oversees the new pool construction operation jointly with the builders. When not working Kevin spends much of his time with his wife and two daughters.

Regina has been with Puryear since 2012. She is a loving Grandma who loves to spoil her grandkids every chance she gets. But don’t let that sweet smile fool you this woman is a BEAST when it comes to getting things done. Diligent and assiduous are just a few of the words that describe Ms. Regina. We at Puryear feel blessed to have her as a part of the team.

Jake has been with Puryear Pools since 2023. He brings us over 20 years pool construction and maintenance background, having grown up in the industry. He loves helping people in any way possible. Jake has been married to his wife Casey for 5 years and they are blessed with two children; Calan 4 and Finley 1. When not at work, he enjoys spending every minute with his Family. We love to be outside; sports, fishing, hunting, movies, biking etc. Jake graduated from Texas A&M University class of 2009.

Josh has been with Puryear since 2019. Josh is our dedicated, hard-working, self-driven Warehouse Manager. He is a father of four: 2 girls and 2 boys. Josh spends his free time volunteering at his local church, where he teaches 3rd – 5th grade large group. In his free time, he enjoys camping, playing video games with his little ones, and working on his house to make it a better home for his children.

Preston has been with Puryear since 2017. Preston started as a Builder Superintendent, then moved to Construction Management. As of 2024, he has been promoted to Renovation Manager.

Alisa has been with Puryear since 2019 and our Yankee who had the good sense to move to Texas. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 girls and 2 boy’s pups (German Shepherds). Alisa loves being a part of our Puryear family, answering our phones, and greeting our customers. On most days, she is busy diving into any pool pun she can dig up!

Steve has been making backyard dreams come true with Puryear as a Custom Pool Designer since 2014. Steve is consistently ranked as one of our top producing designers. He is a dad of a fantastic 19-year son. His ability to capture someone’s dream and turn it to a reality is exciting to watch. He relies on his skills he developed as a teacher for 10 years to listening to his customers and help demystify the pool building process. He graduated from TCU in 1999, and again in 2005. Steve owned and ran his own bobcat services company specializing in excavation, construction cleanup, and landscaping for 5 years. He loves being outdoors and spending time at his property in East Texas.

Nick has been with Puryear since 2018 and is a talented pool designer. He has spent well over 20 years in the pool industry, from servicing pools to building new construction as a superintendent for Puryear Custom Pools. He has taken his knowledge and experience to the design department to give you the backyard oasis you are looking for. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family: Wife, Paula, of 25 years and 3 children Ruby, Lily, and Sadie.

Evan has been with Puryear since 2021 and is a native Texan from Houston. He has prior knowledge of pool systems and chemistry from maintaining HOA Pool Facilities. With a background in Logistics and Mechanical Engineering, he applies his experience into the design process. Evan is known for the fact that he will help anyone and everyone who stops by the office. He and his wife have recently welcomed their first baby girl. If you see him around, he may or may not have slept!

Tom has been with Puryear since 2011. Since that time, he has designed pools, has been the superintendent over our builds, and now, he is the one who oversees our pool plans and permitting. If you need someone for any job, big or small, Tom is that guy who is always there with a helping hand! In his spare time, Tom likes to hang out in his pool, with his pups, or go down to the lake with friends.

Scott brings 25 years to the pool business, with Puryear since 2015. He has worked with 3 top 50 pool companies including Puryear. Scott enjoys making the clients backyard into an oasis. He also provides quality control with the builders. When Scott is not working, he spends a lot of time at baseball fields, rodeos and cheerleading competitions watching his grandchildren.

Tim has been with Puryear since 2017 and builds our pools. On his days off he is usually on the water somewhere trying to catch some fish.

James has been with Puryear since 2013. James is our Journeyman carpenter turned project manager, and has been in the pool and outdoor living business for over 12 years.

When he’s not transforming your backyard, you will find him playing drums in the studio, DJing a party, or going on a wild adventure with his wife and five kids.

Anna has been with Puryear since 2021 and coordinates on all of our builds. She is constantly making sure that everything goes smoothly for our customers and our team. She loves the busy flow of our office. In her free time, Anna loves to cook and spend time with her family. When you meet her, ask her about her recipe for green spaghetti. It’s delicious!

Patti Teer has been our Puryear bookkeeper since 2022. During the day, she can be found speaking with a homeowner, making sure that payments can be made without stress. Patti is a multi-talented lady, with super creative and crafty capabilities! If she is not making a personalized shirt for a friend, then she is with her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and newly-minted grandbaby, Harper.

Caryn has been with Puryear Pools since 2024 and is responsible for providing technology needs for the company.

Caryn loves working with technology. As a pre-teen and before Personal Computers were available, Caryn became fascinated with technology spending time with her Dad at his small business using his IBM 7090 mainframe computer to play The Sumerian Game – Wikipedia. The game helped plant the seeds of her entire career in technology. She has extensive knowledge in computer software development from her early technology career. Caryn spent the last half of her career as a project manager ultimately responsible for successful implementation of new/changes in technology and training others how to use technology.

When Caryn is not at work, she attends The Living Word of Country Church of Texas. Also, she loves planning and hosting social events for her friends, hanging out by her pool, attending her 3 different dance classes, expanding her knowledge by listening to Audiobooks, volunteering with various organizations to serve others, and playing with her dogs Casey and Oscetta. Caryn is a member of the Arkansas Rugby Foundation having played with the Arkansas Diamonds Women’s Rugby Club from 1985 to 1992.
